Dr. Kumbala Pradeep Reddy is a Professor of Computer Science & Engineering and Dean (R&D) at Vignan's Institute of Management and Technology for Women, Hyderabad, with over eighteen years of combined teaching and industry experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from JNTU Hyderabad, with research specialization in Machine Learning and Image Processing, and his doctoral work focused on multi-view human action recognition for large-scale video databases. He has published more than 65 research papers in reputed SCI, Scopus, and UGC-CARE indexed journals and international conferences, spanning artificial intelligence, deep learning, cyber security, IoT, and computer vision. A recognized Ph.D. research supervisor at JNTUH, SRM, SR, GIET, and Annamalai Universities, he currently guides 13 research scholars and has mentored over 115 postgraduate and undergraduate projects. His academic leadership includes serving as Head of the Department, BOS Chairman, and lead coordinator for NBA and NAAC accreditation processes, along with convening an AICTE-sponsored Faculty Development Programme worth Rs. 7 lakhs. He is a life member of ISTE and a member of IEEE, CSI, and IAENG, and serves as a reviewer for SCI and Scopus-indexed journals.
