Best Practice 1: Academic and Administrative Audit (AAA)

Academic and Administrative Audit (AAA) is a systematic evaluation process conducted in VMTW to assess and enhance the quality of academic and administrative functions. It involves a comprehensive review of various aspects, assessment methods, institutional policies, administrative procedures, and overall organizational effectiveness.

The primary objective of an AAA is to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement within the institution. It aims to promote transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement in the academic and administrative processes.

The key components of an AAA include:

  • Assessment and Evaluation

  • Governance and Administration
  • Infrastructure and Facilities
  • Research and Innovation
  • Quality Assurance Mechanisms

The process of academic and administrative audit is an ongoing one, often conducted at regular intervals to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to standards and best practices in education.


Best Practice 2: Teaching-learning and Pedagogic Initiatives

A variety of teaching and learning initiatives were organised by IQAC , which were delivered by eminent academicians. IQAC developed flexible learning methodologies, web-based learning and electronic resources to transform the teaching-learning process from a traditional teacher- centric approach to a student-centric one.

In addition ,several initiatives have been taken including

  1. Organizing guest lectures and expert sessions from notable academicians on various teaching learning pedagogy methods.
  2. Adapting to ICT enabled and interactive teaching-learning processes.
