Achievements

  1. The Department of Information Technology secured ₹3.5 Lakhs under the AICTE ATAL Scheme for organizing the Faculty Development Programme titled 'Industry 4.0 Unleashed: Intelligent Convergence of AI and Cloud for Autonomous and Resilient Smart Systems', scheduled from 7–12 September 2026.

  2. Dr. D. Shanthi received the prestigious Young Achiever Award from JNTUH (2025) in recognition of outstanding contributions to teaching, research, and academic excellence.

  3. The IT Department achieved an excellent placement record during 2025–26 with 60 students receiving single offers and 9 students securing multiple offers in leading MNCs, resulting in an overall placement percentage of 92.31%.

  4. More than 100 IT students earned NPTEL Elite and Silver certifications in Java, IoT, and Python.

  5. IT faculty members collectively attended over 50 Faculty Development Programmes, workshops, and technical training programmes.

  6. Mr. J. Ranjith received the IEEE Best Paper Award at an IEEE Conference held in Bengaluru.
