Dr. Kumbala Pradeep Reddy Dr. Kumbala Pradeep Reddy is a Professor and Head of the Department of Information Technology at Vignan’s Institute of Management and Technology for Women, Hyderabad. He has over eighteen years of combined experience in teaching, research, and industry.He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH), with research expertise in Machine Learning and Image Processing. His doctoral research focused on multi-view human action recognition for large-scale video databases.Dr. Pradeep Reddy has published more than 65 research papers in reputed SCI, Scopus, and UGC-CARE indexed journals and international conferences. His research contributions span diverse areas, including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Cyber Security, and Internet of Things (IoT).He is a recognized Ph.D. Research Supervisor at JNTUH, SRM University, SR University, GIET University, and Annamalai University. He is currently guiding 13 research scholars and has successfully mentored more than 115 undergraduate and postgraduate student projects.In addition to his teaching and research contributions, Dr. Pradeep Reddy has demonstrated significant academic and administrative leadership. He has served as Head of the Department, Chairman of the Board of Studies (BoS), and a key coordinator for NBA and NAAC accreditation activities. He has also served as the coordinator of an AICTE-sponsored Faculty Development Programme with a sanctioned budget of ₹7 lakhs.He is a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and a professional member of IEEE, Computer Society of India (CSI), and IAENG. He also actively contributes to the academic research community as a reviewer for reputed SCI- and Scopus-indexed international journals.With a strong combination of academic leadership, teaching experience, research expertise, and professional engagement, Dr. Kumbala Pradeep Reddy continues to contribute significantly to the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Cyber Security, and emerging information technologies.
